Accuraty attended the 2012 CMS Expo in May (cmsexpo.net). By the time we returned home, we had not one, but four awards in hand! This year’s CMS Expo was held at the Hilton Orrington hotel in Evanston, Illinois. It was a three-day event filled with interesting people and topics. Among other things, we were able to finally meet some of the people behind DotNetNuke in person. We were thrilled when the founder of DNN Corp, Shaun Walker, asked us to show off some of our projects during the DotNetNuke Showcase session! We demoed two of our sites built with Responsive Web Design and participated in a Q&A. We then got to show them off again later during the CMS Site Showcase Lightning Round. We elicited quite a few oohs and aahs from the crowd of close to 100 people, and even an audible gasp when we showed the real-time mobile adaptive page layouts on the big screen!

We believe they handed out about 40, so not bad? We only planned to stay at the show for 2 days, but the event turned out to be a fantastic and engaging experience in the website and content management system space where we live and breathe, so we stuck around for a third day. We are already looking forward to next year's show!
